The website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider. The application's server infrastructure is deployed in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). The hosting provider may process technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to ensure reliable website operation.
6. Chess Engine Processing
The chess engine used in the application (Stockfish WASM) runs directly inside the user's browser. Chess analysis is performed locally on the user's device, and chess positions are not sent to external servers for analysis.
7. Third-Party Content Sources
The platform may load puzzle positions or educational chess content from publicly available sources such as the Lichess puzzle database. Only chess position data is retrieved. No personal user data is shared with these services.
8. Analytics
This website uses privacy-focused analytics tools to collect anonymised usage and performance data. These tools help us understand how the website is used and identify performance issues. No personally identifiable information is collected through these services. The data collected includes page views, navigation patterns, and page load metrics.
9. Children's Privacy
schach.ai is designed as an educational platform for children. We take special care to protect children's privacy: no public chat features, no targeted advertising, minimal data collection, and a safe learning environment.
